from Russian Hill,the waves breaking against Alcatraz Island inside the San Francisco Bay, were as big as I've ever seen, I had a hunch Maverick was going to be good...this event is a great reminder of the awesome synergy mother nature graces Californians with....amazingly no contestants suffered injuries, and like earthquakes, word of this happening will draw people from all corners of the world to future Mavericks events
